SECTION 8 CONSULTING LLC PRIVACY POLICY AND NOTICE
Effective Date: December 13, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Section 8 Consulting LLC (“Section 8 Consulting,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you interact with our websites, pages, checkout flows, mobile experiences, online communities, software portals, customer support, events, and any other services we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect from you when you visit or use any Company website or landing page, register for a training, submit a form, purchase a product or mentorship, join our community, use any Company software portal, attend live or virtual events, communicate with our team, or otherwise interact with the Services. This Privacy Policy does not cover third-party websites, tools, or platforms that we do not control, even if they are linked from our Services.
We collect information in three primary ways: information you provide to us, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
Information you provide to us may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, billing address, payment-related details (processed by our payment processors), account login details (if applicable), purchase history, customer support messages, survey responses, and any other information you choose to submit through forms, applications, onboarding steps, messages, or community participation.
Information collected automatically may include your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, language preferences, general location (such as city/state derived from IP), referring and exit pages, pages viewed, timestamps, clickstream data, session activity, interactions with emails and messages (where permitted), and log data used for security, analytics, and service performance.
Information from third parties may include data from advertising partners, analytics providers, social platforms, payment processors, CRM systems, scheduling tools, and other service providers that help us operate. If you use a third-party login method (where offered), we may receive basic profile information the third party makes available, based on your settings with that third party.
We collect personal information to operate our Services, process transactions, deliver access to mentorship and training products, provide customer support, personalize and improve your experience, communicate with you about your account and purchases, send requested updates, enforce our policies, protect against fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and run marketing and advertising that promotes our Services.
We do not sell your personal information in the sense of exchanging it for money. We also do not rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers and partners as described below to operate the Services, run advertising, communicate with you, and support business operations.
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, tags, and SDKs) to operate the Services, remember preferences, maintain sessions, measure traffic, analyze performance, detect fraud, and improve marketing effectiveness. Some cookies are essential to site functionality, while others support analytics and advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through any cookie preference tools we provide. Disabling certain cookies may reduce functionality or prevent parts of the Services from working properly.
We may use analytics tools to understand how people use our Services and to improve performance. We may also use advertising tools (including pixels) to measure ad performance, deliver relevant advertisements, and build audiences for marketing campaigns.
Some advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activity over time and across websites. You can often opt out of interest-based advertising through your device settings or through industry opt-out tools.
If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you SMS or MMS messages related to the Services. These may include reminders, updates about trainings or events, account notifications, customer support responses, and marketing messages (where you have consented).
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, you may receive one confirmation message. You can rejoin by opting in again through the same method you originally used.
For help, reply HELP or contact us at Karim@section8training.com or 619-943-9566.
We do not sell your SMS consent or opt-in data and we do not share SMS consent with third parties for their own independent marketing.
We use your information to provide and deliver products and services, including granting access to training portals, communities, software features, and program materials. We use it to process payments, prevent fraud, confirm identity where appropriate, and maintain account security. We use it to communicate with you regarding purchases, access details, scheduling, support tickets, service changes, and important notices. We use it to send marketing communications where permitted and where you have opted in or where allowed by law. We use it to improve our Services, including troubleshooting, analytics, testing, and product development. We use it to enforce our terms, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations.
We may share personal information with trusted service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing, email and SMS delivery, hosting, analytics, customer relationship management, customer support systems, scheduling, community platforms, and security tools. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect it.
We may share personal information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, investigate security issues, enforce our agreements, or protect the safety of users or the public.
We may share information in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Our Services may include links to third-party sites or may operate through third-party platforms (for example, payment processors, community platforms, webinar tools, scheduling tools). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. You should review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for using secure devices and networks when accessing the Services.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain business records, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against fraud. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected. Even if you request deletion, some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as security, dispute prevention, or financial recordkeeping.
You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may still receive transactional or account-related messages.
You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
If you have an account portal, you may be able to update certain information through your profile settings. Otherwise, you can request updates by emailing us.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, request correction, request deletion, or request limitations on use. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California privacy laws, including rights to know what personal information is collected, used, or disclosed; to request deletion (subject to exceptions); and to opt out of certain forms of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you would like to submit a California privacy request, contact us at Karim@section8training.com. To protect your information, we will verify your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law.
If you are located in the EU, EEA, or UK, you may have rights under data protection laws, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability, subject to legal limitations. Our lawful bases for processing may include consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests (such as security, fraud prevention, and improving the Services). If you wish to exercise these rights, contact us at Karim@section8training.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
Our Services are not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
